(“Guardteck”), Everclean Facility Services (“Everclean”) and Gteck Advanced Technology (“Gteck”), (collectively, “we”, “us”, “our” or the “Kandor Group”) are committed to protecting your privacy and the confidentiality of your personal information by complying with the privacy laws and regulations in Canada and in the provinces in which we operate. This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) describes how the Kandor Group collects, uses, and discloses personal information in relation to our operations, as well as the products and services we provide (the “Services”). This Policy applies to you use of our websites (the “Websites”), as well as your use of Guardteck, Everclean or Gteck Services. 

GIVING AND WITHDRAWING CONSENT

By visiting and using our Websites, purchasing products or services from the Kandor Group, contacting the Kandor Group, or otherwise using our Services, you acknowledge the notices in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, you must refrain from using our Websites or Services.  
We collect, use, and disclose your personal information with your consent and as permitted by applicable privacy laws. Depending on the personal information that we collect and the purposes for which the personal information will be used, your consent may be express or implied. When you voluntarily provide personal information to us, we will imply your consent to use and disclose that personal information in accordance with this Policy.   
Subject to certain legal or contractual restrictions and reasonable notice, you may withdraw your consent to our collection, use or disclosure of your personal information at any time. If you express your intent to withdraw consent for a particular use or disclosure of personal information, we will inform you of the consequences of withdrawing your consent, if any, at the time. 
In some cases, refusing to provide certain personal information or withdrawing consent for the Kandor Group to collect, use or disclose your personal information could mean that we cannot provide you with the requested Services. 
If you withdraw consent relating to your personal information, we may choose to delete or anonymize any or all of your personal information in our system. We may also keep a record of your withdrawal of consent.  

SECURITY AND PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 
The Kandor Group takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information.  We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect against unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, and disposal, in a manner appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.  
Under some circumstances, we may anonymize or aggregate your personal information so that it can no longer be associated with you.  We reserve the right to use such anonymous and de-identified data for any legitimate business purpose without further notice to you or your consent.   

ACCESS AND CHANGES TO YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 
You may request access to, or correction of the personal information held by the Kandor Group about you.  Any request must be to the Kandor Group Privacy Officer in writing at the contact information noted below, with sufficient detail to enable the Kandor Group to understand the request and identify the subject personal information.   
When you contact the Kandor Group, we may ask for further information to confirm your identity and the nature of your request.  We will respond reasonably to your request and in accordance with the law.  In some cases, the Kandor Group may need additional time to respond to a request, in which case we will provide you with written notice of the extension.   
The Kandor Group may charge a reasonable fee according to the cost required to retrieve and provide access to the requested information.  We may provide an estimate of the fee in advance and in some cases, will require a deposit for all or part of the fee.  

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY 
The Kandor Group may update this Policy from time to time and post any changes to the Websites.  If you use the Websites or the Services, you acknowledge notice of the most up-to-date version of the Policy posted at that time. The Kandor Group’s collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your personal information will be governed by the version of the Policy currently in effect.  As a result, we encourage you to periodically review our Policy for the latest information on our privacy practices and to contact us if you have any questions or concerns.

The Kandor Group collects the following types of personal information:   
Personal Information you Provide to the Kandor Group: 
Contact information: we collect your contact information, including your name, email address, phone number, and IP address when you fill out a contact form on our Websites.  
Personal Information Automatically Collected When Using the Websites 
Technical and usage information:  the Kandor Group uses third party providers, such as Google Analytics, to collect information about your engagement with the Websites.  We may collect information about your device, such as your internet protocol (IP) address, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), platform type, device identifier, manufacturer and model, as well as the operating system you use.  With respect to your visit to the Websites, we may get information that includes the pages of the Websites you visit, when and how long you visit the Websites, your actions within the Websites (e.g. number of clicks), connection speed, Website crashes and other system activity, the URLs you visited before and after using the Websites, and content that you download from the Websites. 
Tracking technology: the Kandor Group may collect personal information when you access the Websites via cookies, Google Analytics and other similar tracking technologies. This is addressed further in the “How we use Tracking Technology” section below. 

USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 
The Kandor Group uses personal information for a number of purposes, as permitted by law. These purposes may be clear to you at the time of collection, or may be reasonable in the circumstances. In addition to the obvious business and legal purposes for which we may use personal information, our use of personal information include the following purposes: 
Communications: We may use your personal information to correspond with you and to manage our relationship, including in relation to requests you make through our Websites or to respond to your questions, comments, or concerns. We may use your information to provide you with Services you request. 
Device, technical and usage information: We use information to understand traffic and activity on the Websites, to enable us to improve the Websites and our offerings to you, to understand engagement with our business and the Websites, and to tailor our marketing.  We monitor system usage, server and software performance to maintain, ensure, and improve the integrity of our Websites, related information, and electronic services.  
Legal and regulatory requirements:  We may use your personal information to meet our legal obligations and for regulatory purposes.   

HOW WE USE TRACKING TECHNOLOGY 
The Kandor Group uses cookies, Google Analytics, and other technologies to collect information as you navigate our Websites. This includes device, technical, and usage information as described in this Policy.  
These third-party tools may collect and associate information about your online activities on our Websites and across different websites. They may create reports for the Kandor Group about activities on the Websites, such as aggregated information about devices, geolocation, networks, page visits, duration of visits, and click through rates. The location information may be real-time in association with use of our Websites.  The Kandor Group only uses aggregated data from these services.   
You can choose whether to allow the Websites to collect and use real-time information about your device’s location through your device’s privacy settings.  If you block the use of location information, some parts of the Websites may be inaccessible or not function properly.  

CHOICES YOU HAVE ABOUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION  
We want you to understand your choices and make informed decisions about the ways in which the Kandor Group uses your personal information.

This could include disclosure for the reporting or investigation of improper or unlawful activities, or to protect the Kandor Group’s rights and property. 
Third Parties 
We will disclose your personal information to trusted third parties when our Services or operations require us to provide your information to a third party who performs functions on our behalf.  In such cases, we take steps to help ensure our service providers only use personal information for authorized purposes and implement reasonable privacy and security safeguards.  
Services that we use to perform functions on our behalf include: 
Analytics: We use Google Analytics to assist us with reporting and analytics, member engagement and communications, and to track and analyze usage information about our Websites.  

GUARDTECK 
This subsection of the Policy applies exclusively to Guardteck Services.

Guardteck collects personal information when providing the Services. For more information about how Guardteck uses third parties in relation to your personal information, please see the section on Third-Party Service Providers below. 
Guardteck collects personal information in a number of ways, including:   
  When you provide it directly to us, such as by filling out forms, contacting us, or subscribing to our Services.  
  Through business transactions, including contract agreements, billing, and payment processing.  
  Automatically, when you interact with our website or digital platforms, including through cookies, log files, and analytics tools.  
  From third-party sources, such as service providers, business partners, or publicly available information, where permitted by law. 
Personal Information you Provide to Guardteck: 
Name and description: Guardteck may collect your personal information, including your name and description for the purposes of incident reporting.  
Incident details: Guardteck may collect details of incidents that you were involved in for the purposes of incident reporting. 
Personal Information Automatically Collected by Guardteck 
Body camera footage: Guardteck collects bodycam footage as part of its operations, which may capture your image. 
 
USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 
Guardteck uses personal information for a number of purposes, as permitted by law.  These purposes may be clear to you at the time of collection, or may be reasonable in the circumstances. In addition to the obvious business and legal purposes for which Guardteck may use personal information, Guardteck’s use of personal information include the following purposes: 
Deployment strategies: Guardteck may use your personal information to make strategic decision about staffing. 
Purchasing decisions: Guardteck may use your personal information to make purchasing decisions about equipment and other necessary materials. 

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 
Except as described in this Policy or in other situations where Guardteck has provided you with notice, have obtained your consent, or are obligated or permitted by law, Guardteck will not share your personal information with third parties.  For example, in certain circumstances, Guardteck will disclose your personal information without first obtaining your consent to law enforcement and other governmental authorities when required or permitted by law to do so. This could include disclosure for the reporting or investigation of improper or unlawful activities, or to protect Guardteck’s rights and property.  
Third Parties 
Incident reporting: Guardteck will disclose your personal information in the context of an incident report to the relevant property owner and law enforcement, if necessary. 
 
EVERCLEAN 
This subsection of the Policy applies exclusively to Everclean Services. Everclean does not collect, use or disclose any personal information, except in the following circumstances: 
  When you provide it directly to us, such as by filling out forms, contacting us, or subscribing to our Services.  
  Through business transactions, including contract agreements, billing, and payment processing.  
  Automatically, when you interact with our website or digital platforms, including through cookies, log files, and analytics tools.  
  From third-party sources, such as service providers, business partners, or publicly available information, where permitted by law. 
 
GTECK 
This subsection of the Policy applies exclusively to Gteck Services.

Gteck collects personal information when providing the Services. Some collection of personal information outlined below is done by third-party service providers on behalf of Gteck. For more information relating to how Gteck uses third parties in relation to your personal information, please see the section on Third-Party Service Providers below. 
Gteck collects personal information in a number of ways, including:   
  When you provide it directly to us, such as by filling out forms, contacting us, or subscribing to our Services.  
  Through business transactions, including contract agreements, billing, and payment processing.  
  Automatically, when you interact with our website or digital platforms, including through cookies, log files, and analytics tools.  
  From third-party sources, such as service providers, business partners, or publicly available information, where permitted by law. 
Personal Information you Provide to Gteck: 
Contact information: Gteck collects your contact information, including your name, phone number, email address, and physical address when you contact Gteck, purchase the Services, and otherwise during Gteck’s operations. 
Billing information: Gteck collects credit card information and banking information in order to provide you with the Services. 
Monitoring information: Gteck collects alarm monitoring information from your property in order to provide you with the Services. 
Gteck does not collect any video footage. If you have privacy concerns related to video footage, please contact the relevant property owner for more details. 

USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 
Gteck uses personal information for a number of purposes, as permitted by law.  These purposes may be clear to you at the time of collection, or may be reasonable in the circumstances. In addition to the obvious business and legal purposes for which Gteck may use personal information, Gteck’s use of personal information include the following purposes: 
Alarm monitoring: Gteck uses your personal information to provide alarm monitoring services. 
Payment processing: Gteck uses your personal information to administer and process payments. 

DISCLOSURE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION 
Except as described in this Policy or in other situations where Gteck has provided you with notice, have obtained your consent, or are obligated or permitted by law, Gteck will not share your personal information with third parties.  For example, in certain circumstances, Gteck will disclose your personal information without first obtaining your consent to law enforcement and other governmental authorities when required or permitted by law to do so. This could include disclosure for the reporting or investigation of improper or unlawful activities, or to protect Gteck’s rights and property.  
Third Parties 
We will disclose your personal information to trusted third parties when Gteck Services or operations require us to provide your information to a third party who performs functions on our behalf.  In such cases, we take steps to help ensure our service providers only use personal information for authorized purposes and implement reasonable privacy and security safeguards.

Alarm monitoring: Gteck uses Lanvac Surveillance Inc, and Graham Alarm Monitoring Ltd to assist us with providing alarm monitoring services. 
Where you are providing information directly to third party providers who operate on behalf of Gteck, you may be subject to the collection practices and the terms of use and privacy policies of those third parties.  You are responsible for reviewing and agreeing to those privacy policies and terms and conditions.  If you do not agree with the third-party terms of use or privacy policies, you should not use the services offered by such third-party service providers.
