We’ve grown from a one-person start-up to managing a full-spectrum of capabilities in facilities management. Modest beginnings with the launch of Guardteck Security operating out of the family home in British Columbia. From day one, the mission was to focus on details, act with integrity, go the extra mile, empower people, and pay it forward


In the span of three years, solo entrepreneur Seth Fruson grows business from local to regional to province-wide clientele, prompting expansion to 150 employees


Guardteck wins contracts with high-profile 2010 Olympic Winter Games clientele, providing security and ensuring safety at indoor and outdoor live events, as well as peacekeeping duties amidst record-setting crowds converging day and night in downtown Vancouver

2013 – 2014

Client roster continues to grow with the addition of top retail shopping centres, expansion to Alberta, the acquisition of peer company LiveHost International and contractual services to secure the largest outdoor music festival in the Pacific Northwest.


Our 10-year anniversary is marked by Guardteck’s stature as a leader in security services for special events, major retail centres and commercial properties in Western Canada.


Milestone recognition as the top security provider at over 900+ special events annually.


Expansion to Vancouver Island and appointment as the national security provider to a preeminent coast-to-coast retail chain. Launch of Everclean Facility Services to broaden our capacity to offer complete, client-centric, site management services for a growing customer base.


Guardteck becomes the choice security provider for major commercial towers and mixed-use properties. Everclean expands throughout Western Canada and is contracted by the Fortune 500 Whole Foods chain.


Acquisition of Corporate Cleaning Services Ltd. to add over 30 years’ experience in janitorial industry excellence to Everclean. Kandor Management Corporation is born to converge our best-in-class services as a complete, convenient, client-centric group of companies.


Kandor provides industry-leading services on front lines and behind-the-scenes to support each of our client’s response to the COVID pandemic, and to ensure on-going success (Guardteck alone logged over 15,000 crew hours for a single, coast-to-coast client.)
